In what occupations do most Palestinian women work?

Palestinian women work in agriculture (most commonly on family farms), and as textile workers, teachers, engineers, clerical workers, doctors, lawyers, and judges.

Still, Palestinian women face substantial obstacles to employment, and have been differentially impacted by the closures and other restrictions of movement imposed by Israel over the last decade.

(report) Sixty-six percent of Palestinian women workers have turned to home-based employment of some kind, which is often not recognized as "labor," nor afforded proper legal protection.
