Diana Buttu is a Palestinian-Canadian lawyer, political analyst, and human rights advocate. Born and raised in Canada, she moved to Haifa years ago, dedicating her career to defending Palestinian rights and advocating for justice on the international stage. A former legal advisor to the Palestinian negotiating team, she has been a vocal critic of Israel’s military occupation and apartheid policies, offering insightful legal and political analysis in global media outlets.
Diana has spent much of her career providing commentary on developments in Palestine, using her expertise to challenge misinformation and elevate Palestinian voices. With This Is Palestine, she shifts the focus to those directly impacted by Israel’s military rule, amplifying their stories and perspectives in a landscape often dominated by external narratives.
