Gaza’s Colorful Neighborhood

Mohammed Al Saedi, a resident of Gaza’s Al Zaytoun neighborhood, inspired a collective effort to beautify the area by adorning homes and alleyways with bright paint, murals, and potted plants. Mohammed believes colors and flowers will bring healing, declaring, “From the stones of the destruction we will build plant basins to grow flowers.”
