- September 12, 2026: Finance Minister and Minister in the Ministry of Defense Bezalel Smotrich said during an interview that all two million Palestinians in Gaza are “Nazis” who “cannot live there” and the only “solution” is for them to leave for other countries, stating:
- “If every country in Europe were willing to take 20,000 or 30,000 Gazans, this whole story would be over.”
- “In my opinion there is no other solution. Ultimately, two million Nazis… cannot live there.”
- September 3, 2026: As part of his reelection campaign, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir held a press conference to promote his plan to ethnically cleanse all Palestinians from Gaza, declaring:
- “[Expelling] 250,000 Palestinians in the first year is possible. One million in three years. Within seven years, we can reach almost 1.9 million. It is realistic. It is in our hands. It is within our ability.”
- September 2, 2026: Defense Minister Israel Katz from Netanyahu’s Likud party said there is “no real solution” in Gaza except for Palestinians to “migrate,” that Israel is prepared to remove them “by any means” and has been trying to find countries to take them in but it needs President Trump’s backing for its plan to succeed, declaring:
- “In the end, there is no real solution for Gaza without this migration… The emigration directorate is organized to take out [Palestinians] to the extent it will be possible… by sea, by air and by any means to do it… [The main problem is] every country that is willing [to take people in] wants American backing.”
- Katz added that Israel has ethnically cleansed most of Gaza of Palestinians and destroyed most of their communities, declaring: “There is still work to do, but about 70% of the territory is essentially deserted. There are no residents, no homes and no tunnels.”
- August 30, 2026: National Security Minister Ben-Gvir posted an AI-generated video to social media showing Palestinian prisoners on a conveyer belt being run through a detention camp and emerging emaciated, with the caption “we promised – we delivered.” As minister of national security, Ben-Gvir oversees Israel’s prison system, which rights groups have condemned as a network of “torture camps” for Palestinians, including deliberately starving them. Following an outcry, Ben-Gvir deleted the video. Earlier in the month, Ben-Gvir posted a different AI-generated video showing an imprisoned Palestinian starving and weeping along with real videos mocking Palestinians describing the harsh conditions they’re being held in.
- August 27, 2026: Finance Minister and Minister in the Ministry of Defense Smotrich released a plan to “Judaize” northern and southern Israel, where large numbers of indigenous Palestinians with Israeli citizenship live, by placing further restrictions on the ability of their communities to expand while building Jewish settlements as part of his settlement “revolution.” To promote his so-called “national program for the Judaization of the Negev and the Galilee,” Smotrich released an AI-generated video depicting Palestinian citizens of Israel, who make up more than 20% of Israel’s population and are systematically discriminated against in virtually every aspect of life, panicking over the plan.
- August 20, 2026: One of the two most senior religious leaders in Israel, Chief Sephardi Rabbi David Yosef, declared that Palestinians are not a people and have no rights, that all of the occupied Palestinian territories (West Bank, East Jerusalem, Gaza) belong to Israel, and Palestinians deserve to have “the Holy One destroy all of Gaza,” stating:
- “They call themselves a Palestinian people, but they are not a people. They were never a people and have no rights.”
- “The meaning of the redemption is that the Land of Israel returns to being ours. Gaza is the Land of Israel. Gaza is ours. Nablus is ours. Jenin is ours. All of them are ours.”
- August 18, 2026: During an interview, National Security Minister Ben-Gvir called for Israel to kill dozens of Palestinians every day, including people who posed no danger, stating:
- “I think targeted eliminations should be carried out in Gaza every night. Take out 30 or 40… Not only those who endanger you right now. These are people who shouldn’t be alive. He added: “I’m paying them a compliment by calling them humans.”
- August 10, 2026: As part of his reelection campaign, Defense Minister Katz released a video boasting about building more than 100 new illegal settlements on occupied Palestinian land and forcibly displacing 40,000 Palestinians in the West Bank. Katz also released a separate video, titled “Boom Boom Boom,” showing the Israeli military bombing Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran.
- August 9, 2026: Maj-Gen (ret.) Giora Eiland, former head of Israel’s National Security Council and an adviser to Defense Minister Yoav Gallant at the beginning of Israel’s genocide in Gaza, declared during an interview:
- “Israel has no interest in Gaza being rebuilt, it is better for us that it be destroyed for generations to come… The greater the despair in Gaza and the greater the destruction, and the greater the monument to what they did on October 7, years to come, that is good.”
- August 5, 2026: Environmental Protection Minister Idit Silman from Netanyahu’s Likud party posted an AI-generated photo showing her feeding the severed hand of a Palestinian to a crocodile, a reference to National Security Minister Ben-Gvir’s plan to build an crocodile-filled moat around a prison for Palestinians.
- August 3, 2026: Finance Minister and Minister in the Ministry of Defense Smotrich, who is in charge of Israel’s settlement enterprise in the West Bank and a settler himself, said in an interview that for Israel to achieve “complete victory” in Gaza it has to “conquer all” of the territory and “resettle” it with Jewish Israelis.
- July 29, 2026: During an election event at an illegal settlement in the occupied Palestinian West Bank, Defense Minister Katz said that he had ordered Israel’s secret police, the Shin Bet, not to classify acts of violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinians as terrorism and that he stopped the use of so-called “administrative detention,” or imprisonment without charge or trial, against violent settlers, while boasting he has signed dozens of administrative detention orders against Palestinians, including Palestinian citizens of Israel.
- July 28, 2026: Defense Minister Katz said during a conference that Israel has systematically destroyed Gaza and dozens of villages in southern Lebanon, declaring:
- “Twenty-four Lebanese villages, hundreds of years old—we destroyed all the buildings, not house by house, but entire villages. Their destruction has been completed. You need to understand: 15,000 to 20,000 homes across all 24 villages have been destroyed.”
- “In Gaza, we destroy not only what is underground but also all the houses… Today, nearly 70% of Gaza has been destroyed… Today there is no Shuja’iyya, there is no Jabalia. All those terrible places you remember no longer exist… We destroyed Gaza.”
- July 23, 2026: National Security Minister Ben-Gvir entered the Noble Sanctuary Mosque complex in occupied Palestinian East Jerusalem, the third holiest site in Islam, and asserted Israeli domination over it, declaring “the state of Israel is the boss.” Ben-Gvir and other messianic Jewish extremists have been pushing for decades for Israel to take full control of the Noble Sanctuary and replace the ancient Dome of the Rock shrine and Al Aqsa Mosque that it contains with a Jewish temple, cloaking their agenda in terms of religious freedom for Jews, stating:
- “Look what’s happening here, Jews are praying, they feel like they’re in charge here… This is how it is in more and more places… Everywhere, they understand that the State of Israel is the boss. There is more work to do; with G-d’s help, we will proceed.”
