Israeli forces, deployed on the southern Gaza border, shot and injured two young Palestinian men east of Khuzaa on Monday evening, medics told Ma'an. The men were left bleeding for a quarter of an hour after they were shot before they were able to call an ambulance. Israeli forces were reported to have opened fire intermittently on Palestinian civilians near the border.
