Echo contributes €1.9 million for displaced Palestine refugees in Syria and Jordan

The EU Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Department (ECHO) is donating €1.9 million ($2.4 million) to provide cash assistance to Palestine refugees in Syria and Jordan who have been displaced by the ongoing conflict in Syria. As winter approaches, this monthly cash assistance will help refugees cover essential costs including food, shelter, health care, transport and heating.

Israeli warplanes struck three administrative and military targets in Syria's Golan at dawn on Tuesday, killing two security guards and two women, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The air raids came after the Israeli army said a rocket fired from Syria hit the Israeli-occupied sector of the Golan Heights, falling on open ground and causing no casualties.
