Deaths listed in chronological order from October 2, 2015 to October 21, 2015. Based on documentation from Palestine Centre for Human Rights.

The Israeli army and police have a long history of using excessive and disproportionate deadly force against unarmed Palestinian protesters and others, including summary executions. The following is a list of unarmed Palestinians killed unlawfully by Israeli soldiers, police, and settlers since the beginning of October 2015. Last updated October 21, 2015.
 

Hashem Azzeh, 54
Killed October 21 in Hebron

A community leader and medical doctor who died after inhaling excessive tear gas fired by Israeli soldiers during a protest.

 

 

Ahmad al-Sarhi, 27
Killed October 20 in Gaza

Shot and killed during clashes between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces. Six others were injured.


 


 

Fadil Mohamed al-Qawasmeh, 18
Killed October 17 by an Israeli settler
From Hebron

A resident of the area said a settler shot al-Qawasmeh near the illegal Israeli settlement outpost Beit Haddassah, adding that “paramedics of the Palestinian Red Crescent arrived but Israeli soldiers didn’t allow them to access the young man. The soldiers then covered the young man’s face then took him in an ambulance to an unknown destination.“ He added that he saw settlers “distributing candies” following the death.


Moataz Zawahra, 21
From Bethlehem
Killed October 13 from a bullet wound to the chest

He was wounded after Israeli forces stationed around Belal Bin Rabah Mosque, north of Bethlehem, opened fire at Palestinian stone throwers. Zawahra sustained a live bullet wound to the chest and was pronounced dead minutes after being admitted to Beit Jala Governmental Hospital.


Ahmed Abdullah Sharaka, 13
From Al-Jalazoun Refugee Camp, Ramallah
Killed October 11 from a bullet wound to the head.

Wounded during a protest that headed towards Beit Eil checkpoint, north of al-Bireh, where Israeli forces opened fire.


 

Nour Rasmi Mohammed Hassan, 26
From Al-Zaitoun neighborhood, Gaza Strip
Killed October 11

Hassan was five-months pregnant and killed along with her child Rahaf (3) when an Israeli warplane fired a missile at their house. The house was destroyed and her husband sustained shrapnel wounds throughout his body and fractures to the leg. Three others, who are cousins of the house owner, were wounded.

Khalil Omer Mousa Othman, 18
From Khan Younis, Gaza Strip
Killed October 10

Israeli forces stationed in the military watchtowers along the border fence, east of al-Faraheen, south of the Gaza Strip, opened fire and killed Othman, along with another person.


 

Ibrahim Ahmed Awad, 28
From Beit Ommer Village, Hebron
Killed October 10, rubber coated metal bullet wound to the head

He succumbed to injuries he sustained on October 8 during confrontations with Israeli forces in Hebron.


Marwan Hesham Naim Barbakh, 10
From Khan Younis, Gaza Strip
Killed October 10 of a bullet wound to the left shoulder

Israeli forces stationed in the military watchtowers along the border fence, east of al-Faraheen, south of the Gaza Strip, opened fire, killing Barbakh.


 

Ahmed Jamal Salah, 22
From Shufat Refugee Camp, Jerusalem
Killed October 9

Salah was killed at close range when Israeli forces stationed the entrance of the camp opened fire at stone throwers. Israeli forces left him bleeding for some time before transferring him to Hadasa Hospital in Israel, where he succumbed to his wounds.


Jehad Zayed Salem Ebeid, 21
Succumbed to his wounds October 10, the Gaza Strip.

Ebeid was killed when Israeli forces opened fire at him while he participated along with dozens of Palestinians in a demonstration near the border fence, east of al-Faraheen village, in Abassan. Two other young men were also killed and 11 others were wounded.


Khalil Omar Othman, 15
Killed October 10 in the Gaza Strip from a bullet wound to the chest.

Israeli forces stationed in the military watchtowers along the border fence, east of al-Faraheen, south of the Gaza Strip, opened fire and killed Othman.


Mohammed Hesham Mohsen (Al-Reqeb), 18
Killed October 9 in the Gaza Strip

Israeli forces opened fire at Mohsen and killed him while participating along with dozens of Palestinians in a demonstration near the border fence, east of al-Faraheen village, in Abassan. Two other young men were also killed and 11 others were wounded.


Ziad Nabil Ziad Sharaf, 18
Killed October 9 in the Gaza Strip

Israeli soldiers stationed in the military watchtowers along the border fence, east of Gaza City in the vicinity of Nahal Oz site, opened fire at dozens of young men who were throwing stones at the watchtowers, killing Sharaf along with three others.


Adnan Moussa Abu Alayyan, 23
Killed October 9, in the Gaza Strip

Abu Alayyan was killed when Israeli forces opened fire at him while participating along with dozens of Palestinians in a demonstration near the border fence, east of al-Faraheen village, in Abassan. Two other young men were also killed and 11 others were wounded.

 


Ahmed Yehya Mahmoud Al-Herbawi, 20
Killed October 9 in the Gaza Strip

Israeli soldiers stationed in the military watchtowers along the border fence, east of Gaza City in the vicinity of Nahal Oz site ,opened fire at dozens of young men who were throwing stones at the watchtowers, killing Al-Herbawi. Three other young men were killed in the same incident.


Shadi Hussam Dawla, 20
Killed October 9 in the Gaza Strip

Israeli soldiers stationed in the military watchtowers along the border fence, east of Gaza City in the vicinity of Nahal Oz site, opened fire at dozens of young men who were throwing stones at the watchtowers, killing Dawla. Three other young men were killed in the same incident.


Abdul Majid Majdi Al-Whaidi, 18
Killed October 9 in the Gaza Strip

Israeli soldiers stationed in the military watchtowers along the border fence, east of Gaza City in the vicinity of Nahal Oz site, opened fire at dozens of young men who were throwing stones at the watchtowers, killing Al-Whaidi. Three other young men were killed in the same incident.


Wesam Jamal Faraj Al-Mansi, 20
Killed October 8 in Jerusalem

Israeli forces opened fire at a group of young men and youngsters who were protesting in Shoafat refugee camp. Al-Mansi was hit with a dumdum bullet to the heart and 33 other civilians were wounded.


 

Amjad Hatem Al-Jundi, 17
Killed October 7 in Hebron

Israeli police officers opened fire at Al-Jundi at close range after chasing him in a mall claiming that he attempted to strip an Israel soldier's weapon near Karyat Jat settlement in Israel.

Killed October 5 in East Jerusalem

An Israeli soldier opened fire at a group of children and youngsters who were near the UNRWA distribution center at the entrance of Aida refugee camp. Confrontations then broke out between a number of Palestinians and Israeli soldiers. Abdullah was hit with a live bullet to the chest from a distance of 200 meters and was killed immediately.

Killed October 4 in Tulkarm.


Fadi Alloun, 19
Killed October 3 in East Jerusalem

A group of settlers chased him towards Haim Barlev Street no. 1. An Israeli police patrol then surrounded him and an Israeli officer shot him dead at close range at least seven times.
